Shipping Policy

*** Receiving Gear From GITTO ***

We will ship your order via UPS for approximate arrival one day prior to your trip. Your rental gear may arrive earlier than one day prior to your trip and you will not be charged any additional rental for early delivery. If an order needs to be expedited to arrive to you in time, you will be contacted with additional shipping charges, for your approval, prior to your order being shipped. You will not be billed for rental gear for the days it is being shipped to you or returned to GITTO.

The cost for delivery and return shipping will be charged to you at the time your order is processed for shipment. The estimated shipping cost that you see at the time of check is an estimate of one way shipping. There will be no additional charges for handling of the order. What it cost us to ship - it will cost you. 

We will ship products anywhere in the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and US Virgin Islands.  

If you are traveling and do not wish to transport our gear, we are able to ship directly to your final destination, once a secure address is provided. It is possible for you to pick up and drop off the rental gear at any UPS deliverable location, including most hotels in your arrival or departure city. These locations will need to be determined in advance. If your return shipment location changes, you will be responsible for paying any additional cost of shipping to UPS when you return the order for shipment back to GITTO.

Once you receive your rental gear - inspect it immediately. If you find any damaged items, please contact us immediately, so a replacement item may be shipped to you, overnight, at no additional cost. If you do not report any damage prior to your trip you may be charged for repair or replacement of the gear.

Also included in the arrival package will be a Gear List - Component List for each item rented and it's respective component parts. This will serve as your check list when your are packing the gear to return to us. If components are missing from any rental item, you will be billed the MSRP price for any components that are not returned to GITTO.


*** Returning Gear to GITTO ***

Gear is to be cleaned as per the Rental Agreement Policy, air dried, reboxed and returned to a UPS location one day following your trip, or additional cost may be incurred. This date is referred to as the Return Shipment Due Date. This date will be highlighted on the invoice that arrives with your gear. You may reference the Gear List - Component List included in your arrival package to assure you have packed all of the items and their respective components that were rented.

You may use the same shipping box in which the gear arrived, or you may purchase a new box at UPS.

Please assure the UPS representative provides you with a receipt after accepting the packed from you. Retain this receipt for your records as it will be your proof that you returned the gear for shipping by or on your Return Shipping Due Date (ie: one day following your trip), and will protect you against any additional rental charges if there is a delay in our receipt of the items. If there is a delay in our receipt of returned items, and you cannot provide this form for verification of shipment, you will be charged an additional days rental for each day the gear is late in return, excluding the actual shipping days.

You are responsible for assuring UPS scanned the return package into their system and provided you with a receipt. Once scanned into the UPS system, you will not be charged for any delay in return of equipment to GITTO.
