There are some special considerations to prevent causing damage to the waterproof nature of this item.

• Keep the zipper free of sand, mud, dirt and grit. Failure to do so can result in permanant damage to the zippper teeth and slider.
• Always, store and ship this item in the closed, zipped position.
• Load and unload the bag with the zipper in the fully opened position, then completely close it immediately to preserve the watertight seal.
• Pad items with hard, sharp corners inside the bag to protect the bag

These bags have a Water Protection Level of 3.

Water Protection Levels:
1 = withstands rain and light splashing.
2 = withstands quick submersion and will float if dropped into the water.
3 = withstands 9 feet / 3 meters of submersion for 30 minutes.
