GITTO cannot stress the importance of using a GPS unit as a SECONDARY navigation device. The GPS system is owned and operated by the United States Military and Federal Government and may be shut down at their discretion. GPS units may fail due to battery issues, damage to the device, loss of the device and for many other reasons. The use of maps, a traditional compass and trip route planning should be the PRIMARY navigation system, especially for the backcountry.

Damage Declaration: If rented and returned with excessive damage to the casing of this unit (scratches, gouges, cracks) you will be charged the full MSRP value of the unit.
